This is an entry level course covering all the basic knowledge and skills about fires in the workplace. The learner will have the foundation knowledge about fire behaviour, and the steps to follow to extinguish different types of fires. It will also equip the learner with tips on preventing fires and the basics about emergency evacuation. The practical skills obtained covers handheld fire extinguishers. Learners will receive a certificate for competency that is valid for 2 years.
